Hidden Valley Is Releasing Ranch-Flavored Ice Cream To Celebrate National Ranch Day
By David Tran
Ice cream is no stranger to marrying different ingredients together, especially when in collaboration with celebrities and other companies to create unique flavors. One such collaboration is between Van Leeuwen and a popular condiment, which has resulted in a savory-sweet dessert.
In honor of National Ranch Day (on March 10), Hidden Valley is partnering with ice cream brand Van Leeuwen to create ranch-flavored ice cream. Featuring ingredients like buttermilk and herbs, the taste is described as being a blend of savory and sweet, and is a fusion between ranch flavor and ice cream.
Rachel Garrison, Associate Director at Hidden Valley, suggests pairing the ice cream with a salty snack, such as pretzels or potato chips. The ranch-flavored ice cream and other new spring flavors from Van Leeuwen will be available at 3,500 Walmart locations for a limited time, from March 20 until May 8 of 2023, and all flavors will retail for $4.98.
