Despite how it looks on television, Guy Fieri does not drive his red 1968 Chevy Camaro SS convertible from city to city to film "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives."

Instead, the Camaro is shipped to each location in a trailer. While there, Fieri doesn’t even drive the car to each restaurant; he is driven by a driver in a separate vehicle.

Fieri is filmed in his Camaro before he heads into a restaurant. In 2019, People revealed: "Fieri only opens and closes the door for the camera."

When “DDD” first began filming in 2007, Fieri would borrow cars from the Food Network until he eventually bought his own and restored it to use for the show.
