Gordon Ramsay's Ingenious Tip For An Ice Cube Alternative
By Hannah Beach
Ice cubes can make a drink refreshing and cool, but they can also water down your drink a little too much. Gordon Ramsay touched on this dilemma in an episode of his YouTube series, “Gordon’s Guide to Stress Free Cooking.”
Ramsay suggests slicing a lemon or a lime into moderate sized wedges and sticking them in the freezer. He says this method is a great alternative to regular ice cubes, as these "won't water down your drink and they'll also add flavor."
Just remember to thoroughly clean your lemon or lime before you turn them into ice cubes. The rinds of the fruit are likely to carry bacteria and even viruses, and you don't want to be ingesting that.
