Frozen Chicken Nuggets Are Way More Handy Than You May Think
By Stacie Adams
Chicken nuggets are a convenient meal option, but they can get a bit boring. With a little culinary creativity, you can use them in other meals in plenty of ways.
Substitute nuggets for chicken breasts in your Taco Tuesday recipe by dicing them into small pieces with salsa, ranch dressing, taco seasoning, and hard or soft taco shells.
Make chicken nugget sliders with your choice of a dinner roll as a bun. You can fancify them with sliced ham, honey Dijon mustard, and Swiss cheese for a Cordon Bleu slider.
Spicy chicken nuggets can give some kick to a salad. Start with a base of iceberg lettuce, diced cherry tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, cheddar, and Monterey jack cheese.
Top it off with some tortilla strips and a honey mustard dressing. Feel free to add more ingredients, like peppers, avocado, or bacon.
