Don't Want To Stand Over The Stove? Make Grilled Cheese In The Toaster Oven
By Stacie Adams
When you want to make a grilled cheese sandwich but don't feel like laboring over a hot stove, use your toaster oven for a more convenient, low-effort cooking method.
A toaster oven is essentially a small, electric oven, so all you have to do is set it to 425 F, butter both sides of your bread, and place it directly on the racks or a sheet pan.
Wait until the cheese is gooey and melted and the bread gets browned, which takes about four minutes on each side. Then, your convenient sandwich is ready to be enjoyed.
Use a melty cheese, like American, mozzarella, or Gruyère, and your favorite variety of bread, such as rye, brioche, or ciabatta, for the best results and a gourmet flavor.
