Does Chipotle Serve Alcohol?
By Ashley Reut
Not long after its inception in 1993, Chipotle became a household name for fast, healthy, and delicious Mexican food. However, there's something about eating chips and guac without a refreshing margarita alongside it that sometimes just feels lacking — so can you get alcohol at Chipotle?
Around half of Chipotle locations serve alcohol, and the chain offers a variety of domestic and specialty beer, as well as margaritas. Chipotle doesn't push the advertising on their alcoholic selection, possibly because many families eat there, but you can still order it in many of their restaurants.
Chipotle’s margaritas have changed throughout the years, and its made-to-order margaritas now feature triple sec, agave syrup, and your choice of Sauza tequila Patron. You can even get them frozen in some locations, so you may want to see what your local Chipotle offers.
