Does A Costco Membership Work Worldwide?

Costco members often wonder if they can use their membership when traveling, both within their home country or internationally. Fortunately, warehouse club members are not restricted to shopping in their home country.
All Costco membership levels can enjoy the perk of shopping at any location worldwide, by just showing their card with their photo at checkout. International members can shop on the company's website, but they'll need to ship their packages to a United States address.
Shoppers in Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, and the United Kingdom can have packages delivered if they place orders on the Costco shopping site dedicated to their locations, though. United States members may also shop on international versions of the site, but items must be shipped to an address within that country.
