Discontinued Costco Products That Made A Big Comeback

Muffins are a huge hit at Costco, and the jumbo Almond Poppyseed Muffins had a place on the shelves for years before being mysteriously pulled. However, in April 2021, Instagram account @costcohotfinds spotted muffins in stores, showing that the fan-favorite had returned.

For under $9 a pop, Kirkland Signature Organic Creamy Peanut Butter comes in packs of two massive 28-ounce jars and is made with natural Valencia peanuts. Costco stopped selling the product in early 2021, but it returned by November of that year.

In October 2020, a Reddit post informed consumers that Costco’s pull-apart cinnamon rolls, which were around $7 per dozen, were disappearing. They made their grand return in February 2021 to the delight of shoppers.

Costco’s in-person dining options were suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic, and not all its options returned as the food court reopened. Churros were a notable example, and while they did return in 2021, many fans were disappointed that they tasted different than the originals.

Costco's Snickerdoodle Mini Cakes arrived in the bakery aisle throughout October of 2021 but quickly disappeared, despite positive reception. However, Instagram user @costcohotfinds jumped on the dessert's revival in May 2022 with an exclusive sighting of the 6-pack.
