Creamier Scrambled Eggs Are Just One Secret Ingredient Away
By Noor Anand Chawla
Every celebrity chef has their go-to secret ingredient for making creamier scrambled eggs. One such ingredient is crème fraîche.
This thick, creamy condiment, which is made from cream that has been soured, makes an excellent addition to scrambled eggs because it ensures an extra creamy dish.
It has a nutty and tangy flavor and a higher fat content than traditional sour cream, so it works well as a thickener for certain food items and to zhuzh up scrambled eggs.
You can either introduce the crème fraiche at the end of the cooking process or include it with the butter while preparing the pan before the eggs are added.
As for the amount — about two tablespoons of crème fraîche should be added to a serving meant for three people.
