Cream Cheese Is Your Secret Weapon To Upgrade Canned Chili

Canned chili is great when you need to make a quick meal, and with a little cream cheese, it can turn into a delicious snack.
All you have to do is mix cream cheese, a can of chili, and shredded cheese together and cook them. This will result in a gooey dip that's perfect for corn or tortilla chips.
Canned chili without beans creates a smoother dip with a stronger meat flavor, and canned chili with beans leans more toward the heartier side.
One way to make this dip is to first layer the cream cheese, then the chili, and finally the shredded cheese in a baking dish before popping it in an oven.
You could also mix the ingredients in a bowl and heat them in a microwave for a few minutes or use a slow cooker for a more uniform dip rather than a layered one.
Adding spices, vegetables, and herbs like crushed red chili pepper flakes, chopped avocados, or cilantro will also add extra layers of flavor to your dip.
