12. Kirkland Strawberry Margarita
Kirkland Signature Premium Ready-To-Drink Strawberry Margarita comes in two versions: one with gold tequila and one with agave wine. Customers on Reddit weren't fans of either.
They called it "too sweet," with "fake strawberry flavor," and doctored it to cut through the sugar. In the time it takes to fix it, you could make a homemade strawberry margarita.
11. Kirkland Signature Blended Scotch Whisky
The Whisk(e)y Room reported this blended scotch whisky went heavy on the woody notes, adding that it was "dry," "dusty," and "flat," with "some caramel and clay-like" aromas.
If your heart is set on the sophisticated flavor of an aged blended scotch whisky, you'll have to pass on this one and splurge on a brand name.
10. Kirkland Signature London Dry Gin
One Reddit customer said this gin "tasted like drinking a rose bush." However, another reported that the manufacturer had changed recently, which "mellowed the rose quite a bit."
A satisfied customer wrote on Reddit, "It's not Boodles or The Botanist, but it's better than Gordon's, another gin at its price point."
9. Kirkland Signature Spiced Rum
Costcuisine and RumRatings said that Kirkland Signature Spiced Rum was smooth and pleasant, but had an "unnatural" and "artificial" vanilla taste.
"This isn't the kind of spiced rum I'm going to stow away for special occasions," Costcusine writes. "It's the kind of spiced rum I'd buy for a party or mix with soda."
8. Kirkland Signature Silver Tequila
Marcas de Tequila's website reported this has a high alcohol taste, while Costcuisine stated that it didn’t have too much burn going down.
"Not noble but best quality for its money... much better than Jose Cuervo Especial," one customer wrote on Tequila Matchmaker's site.
