Cooking Spray May Be Your Answer To Keep Avocados Green

While there is a whole lineup of things you could try to keep your avocados from browning, the answer to your avocado-preserving woes lies in your cooking spray.
The fragile compounds in the avocado react with air, browning quickly. Cooking spray prevents oxidation by creating a much tighter barrier against oxygen than other methods.
Cooking spray is a great preserver, so spray a little bit on one half of your avocado and keep it in your fridge. When ready to eat, just wipe the oil off your fruit, and voila.
