Coffee Vinaigrette: The Unforeseen Dressing For Sprucing Up Your Salad
By Jessica Fleming-Montoya
Playing around with salad dressings is a great way to spruce up a bland-tasting salad, and if you're feeling adventurous, a coffee vinaigrette dressing will not disappoint.
Coffee vinaigrette is made using real coffee beans and has a sweet and salty flavor. Like all vinaigrettes, this recipe's two main ingredients are oil and vinegar.
To get started, you'll need ½ cup of olive oil, ¼ cup of balsamic vinegar, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of pepper, and 1 teaspoon each of honey and instant espresso.
Continue to whisk the ingredients and slowly add the olive oil. Finish by adding salt and pepper, pour it over your favorite salad, and toss it all together.
