Chick-Fil-A Is Officially Ditching Its Side Salad
By Heather Newman
Chick-fil-A is iconic for its crunchy fried chicken sandwiches, but not everything on the menu is as popular with customers, which means that, sometimes, something has to go. This is the case for Chick-fil-A's classic side salad, which will be departing from their menu in April 2023, according to social media.
The news initially came on March 20 from a Tifton, Georgia location that shared the news on Facebook, claiming the salad’s last day would be April 1. A Yukon, Georgia Chick-fil-A shared a similar message on Facebook, stating the last day to order would be April 3 — no matter the exact date, customers don't have much longer to order it.
Naturally, many loyal customers are unhappy about this change. "Why do they always take away the good stuff?" lamented one commenter on the Yukon location's Facebook post. Chick-fil-A is planning on releasing new menu items that are yet to be named, and while the salad will be hard to replace, some are optimistic.
