Andrew Zimmern Takes His Coffee Very, Very Seriously

Over 60% of Americans enjoy a cup of joe every day, per the National Coffee Association, and while some may run to Starbucks each morning, others opt for making their own with some Folgers or with a Keurig. Then there are the coffee drinkers, like Andrew Zimmern, who go to great lengths for perfection.
In an interview with Lifehacker, Andrew Zimmern explained that he likes to use a personal pour-over setup, which takes more effort than a standard coffee pot, but allows much more customization. Zimmern prefers coffee that is rich in chocolatey and nutty flavors, and he says that he is always searching internationally for varieties of peaberry coffee, which many believe leads to a sweeter brew.
Zimmern lists Rwanda, Jamaica, and Mexico as countries that make great coffee. Rwandan coffee has a smooth body and floral hints, and Mexican coffee is rife with fruity, floral flavors, while Jamaica's blue mountain region brings together the flavor of both chocolate and nuts for a multilayered sipping experience.
