Aldi's Peanut Butter Cups Just May Give Reese's A Run For Its Money
By Laura Zbinden
Reese's has long been the king of all peanut butter and chocolate treats, but many Redditors claim that Aldi's peanut butter cups are even better and taste more authentic.
One main difference is the peanut butter-to-chocolate ratio. If you think Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are lacking peanut butter, then the Aldi version might be just up your alley.
Aldi's version is observably tall and skinny instead of wide and flat and contains smooth, creamy salted peanut butter instead of a gritty and sugary peanut butter filling.
However, according to Aldi Reviewer, the formula has changed multiple times, and unfortunately, they're not as good as they used to be due to added sweetness.
It's a matter of personal taste, but Aldi's iteration could be worth a try. They cost $2.99 for a 12-ounce bag, whereas a 10.5-ounce bag of Reese's minis costs around $6.00.
