Deviled eggs are easy to adjust to your taste and imagination, and to add a slightly sweet flavor and a bite of crunch, just use some sweet relish.
Sweet relish adds the crunch of crisp pickles and a touch of sweetness to the deviled eggs’ already-tangy flavor, which plays well off the natural creaminess of the yolk.
In addition to flavor, sweet relish provides a particular texture to deviled eggs, which are otherwise fairly smooth, which really helps to make the dish pop overall.
Sweet pickle relish can complement hotter and more robust flavors than you may associate with deviled eggs. If you like your deviled eggs extra spicy, top them with diced jalapeño.
