14 Discontinued Salty Snacks We Wish Would Make A Comeback

The mildly spicy, tomato-y, salty, zesty spices of Lay's Wavy Fried Green Tomato chips became a hit when they were first created as part of the 2017 Do Us A Flavor competition Regrettably, this chip—which didn't really taste like fried green tomatoes—was discontinued soon after the campaign.

Cheeto's "dangerously cheesy" Xs and Os chips were first introduced to the market in 1999 but were quickly phased out the following year. It seems that many people mourn the loss of these flavourful cheese corn puffs, since there is a Facebook page dedicated to bringing the beloved snack back.

The Lay's Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese chips were a well-liked option in 2014, but they were eventually discontinued. In 2019, Lay's Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese flavor made a short-lived comeback, but we're still holding out hope that they'll return permanently in the future.

The delicious flavor of the Pizzarias Pizza Chips ensured their popularity from 1991 till their sad demise a decade later, when Kellogg's acquired Keebler in 2001 and discontinued them. There is some hope for a comeback thanks to the Bring Back Pizzaria Chips made by Keebler Facebook page, which now has over 7,000 followers.

Sun Chips' Sweet & Spicy BBQ were introduced in 2013 and were made with real honey and chipotle, packed with zingy, fiery BBQ flavor with just a hint of sweetness. Sadly, they are no longer available online and have disappeared from retail shelves, but you might be able to get them through an online re-seller.
