  • Everything on the menu has garlic. Very casual. It has a bistro feel. Food is really good. -Tracey Bloom, Top Chef
  • .. .. ..
  • This place is great for a novelty dining experience but the service is stinking!
  • smell like garlic when you leave or otherwise you haven't experienced it to the fullest extent
  • Order #40: The 40-Clove Chicken. Before you leave, buy some garlic-flavored condoms. Don't use it though. You may never be intimate with your significant other again.
  • Try to count the number of garlic bulbs in the garlic string that winds around the restaurant. (Then, give up and just eat!)
  • Italian Anyone? Stinking Rose is an amazing restaurant in Little Italy - The Stinking Rose is a reference to a full head of traditional Italian roasted Garlic. Not cheap - but completely worth the pr
  • Waiters and servers are way undertrained and unprofessional. Don't expect to be treated kindly while waiting for a table.
  • Perfect place for that first date.
  • This is my favorite San Francisco restaurant. If you love garlic, garlic & garlic, then this is the 1 for U. It will definitely keep vampires away and also your lover!!
  • try the garlic ice cream, just so you can say you have....
  • Prime rib was very good!
  • Stop thinking about ordering the garlic ice cream and just order it.
  • Try the Bagna Calda, Italian Garlic Meat Loaf, 40 Clove Garlic Chicken and the Garlic Crusted Baby Back Ribs. For dessert you have got to try the Garlic Ice Cream w/ Caramel Mole Sauce for sure.
  • Roasted rabbit with roasted garlic and garlic mashed potatoes - very tasty dish
  • Great place!
  • Very small but really interesting. Garlic, garlic, plus garlic. Delicious food. Order the short rib.
  • Get the 40 clove garlic chicken!
  • Bagna Calda and Garlic Ice cream are must-haves for the full 'sting rose' experience! My baby back ribs / prime ribs were super moist and the garlic was strong but not overpowering.
  • Atmosphere is horrible. Don't eat here if you want to be able to have a conversation.
