Tips
- Don't forget to visit the crypts!!!
- This was built in 1220 to honor the Patron Saint of Ireland, St Patricks. It stands next to a very famous wall where it is thought that St Patrick baptized people during his visit to Dublin.
- Founded 5th century,St. Patrick's Cathedral is said to be the earliest Christian site in Ireland, where St. Patrick baptized converts.
- Pay homage to the man behind the best drinking holiday ;)
- A must to visit in bloody beautiful Ireland here in Dublin. Outside cathedral is lit up green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY! GOOD NIGHT WORLD
- One of the first thing to do when arrive in Dublin, it worth to see!
- During my last visit here in the late 90's, they had a "beer keg" chained to a stone pillar inside the church for donations.
- Buscade o lugar onde teoricamente estaba a pila bautismal de St.Patrick!
- Free WiFi inside
- Always check service times before visiting as no wandering about during services allowed.
- The grave of Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels is frequently missed by tourists; it's marked by plates on the ground as you enter on your right hand side (look out for some red ropes).
- Find the staircase to the organ, it was my favorite part.
- Majestic and historic place...you'll be in awe.
- Geffnet bis 17:00
- Check their website for opening hours and avoid going during a service or you won't be let in. Don't be one of *those people* that join a tour group.
