  • Recommended dishes: Grilled sardines, iceberg salad, grilled eggplants, grilled steaks, pork chop, lamb saddle, mackerel, scallops, grilled potatoes, long beans, shishito peppers.
  • Try the flame-kissed grilled sardines, prepared with a slick of citrusy ponzu sauce, a quick char over smoky fire & a bit of olive oil & Maldon salt. Theyre one of our #100best dishes & drinks 2011.
  • Butcher's steak is great, but veal flank steak, eye of round special are two better options. Mashed potatoes are divine but rich. Caprese salad instead of the haloumi, which can be too lemony.
  • fried mashed potatoes, y'all!
  • Come before six if you don't want to wait in line
  • Steak dinner for two, 1 app, 4 sides and 4 drinks for $60. Ridiculous.
  • Butcher's steak with pan-fried mashed potatoes, yes please!
  • That butchers steak is the real deal. $18 and it's so well prepared. Worth the wait, grab a drink at kristophe's while you do it.
  • Meat. That is all.
  • Get the pork chop or the butchers steak, with pan fried mash potatoes. I mean, look at this kid!
  • SO DAMN GOOD. get the butchers steak and veal and spinach gratin and mashed potatoes. LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH.
  • Food was good.
  • Butcher's steak, side of long beans and a glass of lambrusco makes the perfect meal!
  • Order the clams, butcher's steak, and spinach gratin. Salads are all awesome too. Sit at the bar by the kitchen and watch the magic happen.
  • Good place with a good menu. The short hostess/ manager needs to go. She's extremely aggressive and is a bit of an embarrassment.
  • The reasonably-priced steakhouse serves cheeses, beef cuts, and seafood to a hip clientele.
  • Mustache, mustache, mustache and steak
  • This place is like if awesome and tasty had a baby. A baby that served giant slabs of cow. Oh and was friends with awesome sides and apps. Demand a belly rub post-meal from your dinner companion.
  • New York Strip was cooked and seasoned to near perfection. The spinach gratin is a must try as well. Stay away from the Veal with the chimichuri sauce.
  • Eat everything. Better than Peter Lugers.
