Foursquare Tips

  • The Seared Arctic Char is unbelievably flavorful, and the saffron froth is savory and luxurious.
  • As of now, this is the best dining experience you can have in Minneapolis. Every single element of the dinner service was perfect.
  • Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Minneapolis. Amazing wine list and even more amazing menu. Let Chef Gavin Kaysen have his way with you.
  • The highly anticipated new restaurant from Gavin Kaysen, former chef de cuisine at New York's celebrated Caf Boulud. Try the Citzen Kale, wood-grilled wild mushrooms, kale pesto and shaved pecorino.
  • Braised pot roast in -8 degree weather? Yes, please.
  • Great new place. Very modern rustic feel. The cocktails are excellent. Get there right as it opens to get the best seat at the bar.
  • Thirsty? Get a Vieux Carr
  • I think the James Beard award says it all.
  • Get the cheese curds! They're incredible. And if you go on your birthday, you get complimentary cotton candy!
  • The scallop crudo is the best (and possibly the only) way to start off your dinner. It tastes amazing and looks great on Instagram as well. What else does anyone need?
  • Chef Gavin Kaysen decamped from New York's celebrated Caf Boulud, where he had been the chef de cusine, to open his own restaurant in his native Minneapolis.
  • The food here was great & memorable. The Scallop Carpaccio and the Grilled Heritage Pork were stand-outs & the Tarte Flamb (bar menu) was a good surprise that helped to round out our meal.
  • Try the old fashioned. The pineapple gives it a slight upside down cake taste.
  • Beautifully restored warehouse space. Food is good but brunch menu is not great.
  • Incredibly delicious cooking going on here. Literally everything we had was excellent, but don't miss the stand-out Lobster Gigli, Spaghetti Nero, or Potato Gnocchi pastas. WinstonWanders.
  • They use Hope Creamery butter. All is well in the world.
  • One of the best spots in the city - you cant go wrong everything is delish! They have great seafood - try the swordfish its the best combo of flavors. The side of broccoli blew my mind as well.
  • Great date night spot with unique farm to table cuisine. I love the bar seating where you can watch the food being made!
  • Flavorful, well-being crafted dishes in a great atmosphere.
  • I highly recommend. The agua chile tataki and the wild mushroom sturgeon soup are out of this world. The Paloma was unconventional but delicious. Great atmosphere, phenomenal flavors.
