Tips

  • Weinerschnitzel is awesome. So is the German beer selection. And the gravlax.
  • The real deal. Get the 1/2 order. Portions are gigantic. Weinersnitchel or Sauerbraten.
  • i love this restaurant, it feels very homie! the food is very original and the mood and service is wonderful. it feels like zurich and frankfurt and everyone is german here so its amazing!
  • Great cocktails, to-die-for dishes & hot waiters: love it! Get a Sazerac & the sauerbraten.
  • Everything is good off the menu. I can never ever decide. Boris is the bartender to have. He knows his drinks and a good pour.
  • Not a lot of parking
  • Get 1/2 orders of food. You can always order more but the portions are big. Focus on your beer decisions. They are plentiful.
  • Order off the recession menu! Half off/Smaller portions of their most popular menu items. Also- order beer!
  • order The Boot.
  • Try the schnitzel, along with a beer or two... totally decadent.
  • Super service, warm inviting ambience, schnitzel is top class, well prepared with a mild wine-rich mushroom gravy. Apple strudel is simply perfect. Everything here is A+++
  • Ask for the sweet mustard. Its delicious!
  • Such a fun place. Loved it! Can't go wrong with fries and potato pancake (yes more potatoes). Lastly, that pork shank was a monster.
  • As our waitress said, "it's like eating German Thanksgiving food." I had the Schweinebraten, which was amazing. The atmosphere is nice and cozy here and I will definitely be coming back!
  • Awesome food and outdoor seating for Oktoberfest. There's music, dancing and a beer holding contest :)
  • German food and beer. Don't forget the beer
  • Hit or miss food. Sometimes it is really salty and the rotkohl (red cabbage) has cumin in it (WTF?!!), other times it's right. Good luck!
  • The beers are NOT small
  • Simply amazing! Even have live music. Gotta try a huge beer
  • Oh my god! Incredible food. Even the escargot is amazing. And you haven't lived if you don't have a huge German beer.
