Foursquare Tips

  • The Space Shuttle Pavilion is where you can see the space shuttle Enterprise, the prototype NASA orbiter that paved the way for the space shuttle program.
  • Buy tickets online and will call. The GA line is ridiculous!
  • Active duty military get in for free which is nice bonus for a place we wanted to visit anyway. You could easily spend 4-5 hours there with the Growler, the various aircraft, and Enterprise NASA.
  • One of the best museum exhibits out there. Hubble @25 has some amazing facts and photos too
  • Cool exhibit if you haven't seen a shuttle yet. You can't go inside of it unfortunately. You do get to see how amazing they are though along with the Soyuz capsule.
  • Be sure to share your photos from the Space Shuttle Pavilion and Enterprise! Tag them on Twitter or Instagram with #IntrepidShuttle to share them in our gallery.
  • What's good here? The space shuttle, of course!
  • It costs extra but worth it to see such an incredible feat of engineering up close and personal.
  • My favorite part of the Intrepid museum! Exciting to see the forerunner of our space program and learn how it came about.
  • You need to see a space shuttle in your life :)
  • Great to see the shuttle. It's impressively large. Sadly you can't see anything but the exterior. There were some demos for kids that seemed so-so.
  • Great site really worth the extra when at the intrepid.
  • Impressionnant. :-)
  • Amazing to be able to get so close to a Space Shuttle!!
  • It's a beautifully designed exhibition for the whole family. A great learning experience for all ages.
  • Our next Astronomy Night is on Friday, August 28, featuring astrophysicist Maryam Modjaz. Registration is required. RSVP on our website.
