Foursquare Tips

  • Pernil with a Twist: Chunks of roast porkthe kind you want to pick out and relish separately. Among the onion slivers and jalapeno-green sauce, there are homely fried lumps of sweet plantain.
  • Roast turkey special on Mondays is delicious
  • order anything. it's awesome.
  • Chicken and plantains are dope!
  • Might have the best Cuban sandwich in Manhattan. Don't forget to grab the spicy, avocado-y sauce.
  • So good so good
  • The food is awesome, but absolutely NOT vegetarian friendly.
  • The pernil con moro y maduros is always on point.
  • I think they stole my mama's recipe. So good! Get the Chuletas.
  • Did this...Fried fish and sweet plantains...
  • Food is pretty fresh
  • Great good and amazing empanadas. Not so cheap but the price is definetly worth it.
  • This location no longer has table service but, customer seating is still available.
  • I live here. Everything is great. Preference for the roast pork, baked chicken, and pernil with a twist!
  • Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are the baked chicken with Black beans and sweet plantains or the Pernil w/ a Twist!
  • Try the Baked Chicken (via @Foodspotting)
  • The salmon special is amazing!
  • Cubano sandwich with green sauce ftw
  • Possibly the best Cuban sandwich I've had, large portions, and not a large price. If I worked near Flatiron, I would become mayor.
  • Gotta get the Cuban, of course
