Tips

  • Pro tip: this place has ALL the beers
  • Live music; and at least tonight the band is an awesome combination of Grant Green, Boz Scaggs & Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. Oh and the they have ALL the beer.
  • Fun beer selection and the fish and chips were good
  • Fantastic little bar, fun beer selections, decent food, cozy tables.
  • Great bar with really nice bar keepers, had the icelandic burger and a solbert aldinbjr - great combination, one of the best shandies I ever tried. Reservation is recommended if you come around 9pm.
  • The HusBjor (House Beer) is really good! Lobster Dog tastes like it sounds. A nice light snack.
  • Kjtspan er frbr.
  • Lamb soup is so good
  • Classic burger, the whale in the Icelandic platter was too much..
  • This place is in the league of it's own. The appetizer platter is filling for 2 people. House beer is magnificent. Lamb shank is melting in your mouth.
  • This place is in the league of it's own. The appetizer platter is filling for 2 people. House beer is magnificent. Lamb shank is melting in your mouth and if you still have space for dessert...
  • The lobster hot dog is amazing!
  • Best marinated whale
  • Huge selection of Icelandic beers, with a cozy bar to belly-up to on those long Icelandic winter nights.
  • They have very good selection of local beers, we really liked Christmas special Ipa! Burgers are good too.
  • Very good place to eat and drink. Great local food, drinks(local beers) and amazing staff.
  • Very delicious! Beer is good and staff is very helpful. Fin whale in a jar is really good, but expect a small jar :)
  • Traditional Icelandic food in a friendly, cosy bar also popular among the locals. The pick of this place would be the Kjtspa -Icelandic meat soup - a hearty bowl of lamb soup with rye bread.
  • Came in, said hi, waited for 15 minutes for a menu in an empty restaurant, packed my things and left. Can be nice if you get served at all.
  • In this expensive city this is a good place to try weird stuff like whale, puffin or shark meat. Crowded and cosy bar, definitely recommended
