Foursquare Tips

  • Oh god. Pork Belly Benedict.
  • Look up - check out the bigass fan :)
  • The worst place in Portland to order tea. That mug of tea is going to run you over $4!
  • If you request a booth, you can't get mad when people get seated at a table before you. That's right, I'm talking to you Nancy.
  • Don't forget the Strawberry Balsamic syrup.
  • Sit at the bar for fast service and great chat with the employees.
  • Make sure to get Bishop as your server and tell him you've never been here before, even if you have. His intro is hilarious and if you order a pitcher of mimosa he will make it happen - with steez.
  • If you don't feel like making pancakes, the Slappy Benedict is AMAZING! I'll die earlier for having the Pork Belly Benedict - SO worth it!
  • It's just pancakes that you have to cook yourself, but I still want to try it.
  • I'll be taking the relatives to this make-yer-own joint. Fun!
  • Note to self: Quit your job and open up a version of this in NYC.
  • Get the Buttermilk mix with Crispy Bacon, Chorizo, and Goat Cheese. Life changing.
  • If you don't have kids and don't need to make your own pancakes, you can totally just walk through the giant weekend kid crowd to sit at the bar. They have some really awesome non-pancake food.
  • If you like a man who can cook, sit at the bar and take your pick. The guys in the open kitchen are super flirty!
  • This is the ultimate D-I-Y pancake spot. Once you pick all your fixings, you can make your pancakes right at your table. It's a great place to bring a family, but be prepared to wait in line.
  • If you're more into savory than sweet, an excellent combo is: sausage, apples, goat cheese, and a little of their house vinegar-based strawberry syrup. So good!
  • Why are you wasting your time making round pancakes?!
  • Blueberry pancakes with lemon curd. Do it.
  • It is novel it is fun great to bring out of town guests who have kids to. Br warned weekends can have a pretty long wait. Bring a small snack so if the wait is long you won't get to cranky.
  • Definitely be patient while your pancakes cook or they will be difficult to get off the grill!
