Foursquare Tips

  • Love to see shows here!
  • Intimate venue for book signings and the like. Very unique setting
  • Interesting venue to see a show - no food or drinks though
  • Acoustics are amazing. Just make sure to arrive early so you don't get an obstructed view seat (of which there are many).
  • Come early.
  • They recently started offering bar service. If you get here early (maybe 6:30 pm for a 8 pm show) go around the corner to the Will Call entrance.
  • For concerts, arrive early! It's general admission but seated and 30% of the seats are obstructed. Learned the hard way :-(
  • Have a #dctech startup? Share your news and updates with Cheers!
  • Great, intimate venue. Beer & wine is available to purchase downstairs -- you have to buy their Sixth & I sippy cup, though.
  • Arrive early for any P&P function. You've been warned.
  • Beautiful venue!
  • Non-denominational historic synagogue pains-takingly restored. Runs the gamut: Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist. Excellent lectures, concerts, classes, etc.
  • Beautiful space, they put on all kinds of events to keep you on your toes.
  • I enjoyed visiting the synagogue and the performances were very nice. It is worth a visit if you haven't been.
  • The AC makes you feel in Siberia.
  • The staff was awesome and totally willing to help with anything.
  • Don't forget to vote everyday until May 10th to help Sixth & I win a restoration grant to repair the historic stained glass windows.
  • For worship, for concerts, interactions with authors, people in the news, comedy, cooking - it IS a place for all. Note the Fri. of MLK Jr. holiday - the BEST shared Shabbat service w/ Turner AME.
  • Simply a wonderful place for learning, laughing, and renewing one's spirit.
