With those bright blue eyes, her own fashion line, 43,000 Twitter followers and a daddy like Lagerfeld, she is literally the most popular kitty in fashion. Now she’s taking over the beauty market with a Shu Uemura collaboration appropriately titled—wait for it—Shupette.
Yeah, it’s pretty adorable, and we want everything in the collection, from the pink glitter lashes to the cat-emblazoned makeup trunk. Shupette, the Japanese beauty brand’s interpretation of the Kaiser’s pampered princess, was designed and drawn by the company’s international artistic director Kakuyasu Uchiide. “She’s a cat and she’s a real girl. So what kind of facial features does she have? I used my imagination. I also imagined her like a model,” he told Style.com. Shupette’s visage makes an appearance on every product in the collection, even hanging off the eyelash curler in the form of a charm.
The special-edition collection includes two blush palettes, two eye shadow palettes, a makeup trunk, glitter set, brush set, cleansing oil, two false lash sets, an eyelash curler, two blushes, face powder and eye and lip palette. And what does Choupette think of the newest collection? “By using these products, my products, they become as attractive as I am. It may sound pretentious, but believe me, everyone falls in love with me or is, at the very least, attracted to my beauty and my charm," meows Choupette. "My products beautifully enhance all of this.”
