Tips
- When Adam Richman visited here, owner and pitmaster Brad Orrison showed off his award-winning, whole hog-cooking invention known as the RoboHog.
- This "barbecue and blues joint," known for its fall-off-the-bones ribs and award-winning beef brisket, is the original in a growing chain.
- "The ribs here had layers of flavor like a good stew or the filling of a beef wellington." --Adam Richman, Man v Food Nation
- The mac and cheese is to die for! Don't get the BBQ salad (I know, I know).
- Killer pulled pork sandwich. Casual, laid back atmosphere.
- Pulled pork, babyback ribs, potato salad and baked beans are musts. Definitely worth the stop if you're driving I-10 through Mississippi. Oh and the music totally rocks.
- Wow good!!!!
- Chicken nachos! Gettin fed at the shed!
- Omg! Pulled pork nachos!
- Best baby back ribs I've ever had. Get 2 for 1 draft beer for a whopping $2.50 until 6pm.
- The brisket plate was perfect.
- BBQ sauce is up there with our Texas sauces
- Its not just a joint, its a destination. Get a platter of fall-off-the-bone ribs and a beer, and take in some live music (performers range from rock bands to blues musicians). - 2013 BuzzFeed
- Hands down the best BBQ I've ever had. Sweet, southern-style sauce and great sides!
- It was delicious
- try the combo with slaw and beans, choice of two meats... beef brisket and sausage was great!!
- Definitely have to get the Baby Back Rib sandwich with a slaw topper... but start it off with some good old wangs and a beer!
- Stopped by March 9: it is burnt down!! :-(
- Potato Salad. Perfect
- The ribs are a hit. As seen on Travel Channels Man v. Food Nation.
