Foursquare Tips

  • It's past midnight on a tues and I see japanese people (only). Get shoyu. Bring cash.
  • The udon and tofu in a special house broth is to-die-for-delicious. But wear a t-shirt... All that warmth makes one sweat!
  • Slow and very bad service. The waitress tried to charge $50 for a lunch sushi dish when its supposed to be $25. Never go here
  • They have ramen from 11pm to 4am
  • Very authentic Japanese comfort food. This Michelin recommended sushi bar turns into a fantastic ramen join from 11pm-2am.
  • Be ready to be surprised by the quality of food. decoration and services
  • Akita Udon, Pork Kakuni
  • Very authentic Japanese comfort food.
  • They make their own shumai & gyozas!!
  • Sashimi is so good here. Try orange clam.
  • Ramen is disappointing. I'm a big fan of ramen and noodle, this one is crossed from my list. Broth is bland, noodle lacks the texture, machine made for sure. Will give it another shot on sushi.
  • Try the Stewed pork
  • I ordered the assorted sushi set and I regret not going for omakase...
  • Kick ass shoyu ramen after hours (11-230 or whenever they run out of supplies).
  • Try the Shoyu Ramen
  • Any of the noodle dishes (Udon, Soba, Ramen) are awesome. Sushi was super fresh and the back garden is a delightful surprise.
  • Tsukemen ramen
  • Great ramen. They give you an extra order of noodles for only a dollar.
  • Noodle + sushi combination is good. Check out the cute little garden in the back.
  • Just kind of mediocre
