Foursquare Tips

  • Underrated and awesome seafood restaurant off the Graham stop. It's all fish and it's cheap and amazing. I love the lobster and fries or any of the mussel dishes.
  • Order what Outkast would: Shrimp and grits and all that shit. That is, if Outkast had brunch at Sel de Mer.
  • get the clam chowder
  • leave. no, really.
  • The food is delicious and lovely. The service is slow.
  • Fish 'n' chips come encased in a beer-battered, deeply tanned crust that's salty & thick, & answers each bite w/ a lusty crunch. The fish is buttery & pliant, w/ house-made tartar sauce & malt vinegar
  • I DEVOURED the skate in clam broth with enoki mushrooms & escarole, paired with a simple glass of cold Pinot Grigio. Everything here is on point!
  • The Village Voice voted this Best Pescatarian Burger in our Best of New York Poll!
  • burnt, tasteless food for inflated prices. staff seemed to behave like they were in a cult, or on ketamine or something. how do you fuck up shrimp, man? stay away!
  • don't do it. coke-addled service and terrible food.
  • Really awful, avoid!
  • Word to the wise: ask them to crack the lobster lest you want to get sprayed in the face.
  • this place blows my mind every time. warm kale salad with pancetta and parmesan is nothing short of almost-healthy perfection.
  • Blueberry panCAKE. One is all you need
  • Two words: Mussels Roquefort!
  • Cheapest full lobster and tastes amazing
  • If you don't know how to crack a lobster, ask for the vintage "how to eat lobster" placemats.
  • The scallops are to die for. Everything else is just a little better than ok. Really nice service.
  • the perfect poached egg. how do they do it?
