Foursquare Tips

  • Its hard to believe that this obscure South Slope bar serves one of the best patties in town. The tidy, wallet-friendly standout features a disc of meat smashed and griddled Steak n Shakestyle. (CP)
  • The music (Gang Starr, the New York Dolls, Van Halen) and the drinks (topnotch cocktails; twenty beers on tap) are savory enough to keep you floating around for a while.
  • Great place, except for the red-bearded jerk behind the bar who basically told us to quiet down because we were "the loudest ones in the bar". DUDE IT'S A BAR, NOT A LIBRARY. We immediately left.
  • Excellent Bloody Mary's and wildlife!
  • Love sitting in the back booth; it's the Captain's Quarters.
  • Completely in love with this place! Cute little backyard patio, Oyster Club is BANGING, Kyle the Bartender is incapable of making anything less than breathtaking.
  • This place is cool but I feel kinda bad for the fish in the fish tank?
  • Bartenders here are real pricks, especially the guy that sounds like tweety bird. If you own this place, please fire everyone.
  • Ask Kyle to make you something off the top of the dome.
  • love this place... except couple of bartenders. Whatever planet they live on, they need to come back to Earth. Just say something like thank you or how what would you like to drink.
  • Koi pond in the back. Great beer selection. Burger is great.
  • This place has a sweet fish tank. They also do Dark and Stormy's!
  • open wifi!
  • Enjoy the best fish tank ever.
  • The fried pickles are amazing. The bartenders mix really good cocktails (though don't be a pain and order something complicated when it's packed). They play awesome music late. Burger is solid.
  • It's fun to go for brunch when they just open. It's pretty quiet then. The eggs and egg sandwich are great for brunch. The burger is good and the shishito peppers are a great side to any meal.
  • Kinda crappy. The prices seem low, but it's all low quality (except the fish tacos, those were pretty good). They also kicked us out of the backyard before 11 PM. Not one of my faves,
  • The cocktails are really bad but the burger is pretty good
  • Check out the mural by Paul Brainard!
  • I've never had a sober bartender here... for better or worse, but the backyard is great for a peaceful drink.
