  • May 2013 - good news - you can now take photographs - no flash, tripods - in most galleries
  • . ... - , , ... . !!!
  • Impresionante, Raphael, Da Vinci, Rubens, Velzquez. Visita obligatoria.
  • Note that you can't take pictures here, even with your smartphone. If you do try, a guard will force you to delete them, otherwise you'll be thrown out. Nice chaps.
  • Some great pieces but old fashioned with its no photography policy. Could do better.
  • The best coffee I had in Edinburgh (Garden Cafe)
  • Well worth a visit and it's free
  • One of the most charming museums anywhere boasting an impressive collection of paintings by Van Dyck, El Greco, Cezanne, Monet, Sargent, and Constable.
  • If headed downstairs use the lift. The stairs spiral on forever!
  • Cupcake Cafe - need we say more?
  • Take your time
  • Free. Some good stuff by Tiziano, and Il Greco
  • A backpack needs to be carried by hand in the gallery or it can be left in the lockers for 1 pound.
  • One of the finest Art Museum and Galleries I have ever visited.
  • Free admission. Good collection.
  • Wonderful collection, tons of Italian Renaissance paintings. Don't miss Leonardo da Vinci and try to get the small tables near the window at the caf at the gardens level, the park view is relaxing.
  • Great place to go and see some really great works of art.
  • Great for a rainy day. Lots to see.
  • Good collection, a lot of Dutch and Flemish paintings. Big names like Monet and Van Gogh. It's free so take a look inside if you're around.
  • Perfect museum! Free admission! Amazing collection! I'm impressed
