- 1.5 Tablespoons earl grey
- 6.5 Tablespoons honey
- 2.5 Cups rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon ginger peels
- 2 Tablespoons orange zest
- 3 piece cardamom removed from pod
- 2 Cups Mirin
- 2 Cups water
- 6 pears peeled and cut into 6 wedges (remove cores from wedge with a melon baller)
Bring spices and liquids to a boil, remove from heat and add pears.
Allow pears to steep for up to a day.
