Tips

  • The nachos are ill
  • Go to Saturn after hitting the bars and order the nachos. Pretend you're eating healthier because it's vegetarian, even though you're not.
  • Don't be afraid to try anything. We've been coming to Saturn for 27 years and haven't had a bad meal or dessert yet. Amazing food and great atmosphere - truly Santa Cruz!
  • awesome vegetarian food! perfect tour stop if you're a vegetarian in a band
  • Order a Chocolate Madness. Revel in the sheer amazingness of the hot fudge (which you can purchase for use at home).
  • Try this month's ice cream (McConnell's Blueberry) as a milkshake! Deliciously amazing! Yum!
  • Eat Vegan Food! Make sure you are ordering menu items that have a V or VR next to them, because those are Vegan or Vegan Ready (to make vegan). Otherwise they have poisonous dairy products in them! Sa
  • Pumpkin Shake!
  • "Classic combo" vegan grilled cheese (add jalapeo & pickle) butternut squash soup and fruit cup.
  • This is the best vegetarian food I've ever had & I'm not even vegetarian! It's open late which makes it the perfect place to visit after a night at the bars. I recommend the BBQ ranch chicken burger
  • This place is phenomenal, and their menu continues to change and improve with every visit! During fall, you Must get the pumpkin mudslide cake. I am also a bug fan of the mint chip soy milkshake!
  • Get the thin fries, not the thick ones, and a chocolate shake. Dip the fries in the shake, and it tastes JUST like a churro.
  • Get french toast with sourdough!
  • Sit in Kevin's section! He's amazing!!
  • Pleasant place, friendly and efficient staff and the best tomato soup. The outdoor patio is pet friendly.
  • Their vegan milkshakes are AWESOME. You can't go wrong with them. However, you can go wrong with any of their curry. Unless you like curry with your water. That's what it's like.
  • Vegetarian diner food: a unique and great combination. Lots of vegan options. Friendly staff!
  • Signage is misleading. Looks like a regular burger joint. Ended up spending $12 for a veggie burger not knowing that's what it was until took a bite. Plus waitress over charged my cc
  • Tomato soup and fries are amazing here!
  • Kombucha on tap.
