  • It's a great place to get engaged, overlooking the city and the sea :)
  • Until 4:45 pm every day, you can take an elevator to the top of the tower. They've also opened a marvelous gallery to view the inside of the clock mechanism.
  • Ride the elevator to the top of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse for 360-degree views of downtown.
  • Get married on the steps overlooking the gardens :)
  • Take the elevator or stairs up to the 4th floor for view of whole SB

  • As of May 2015 the viewing Rowe is closed for renovation. It will re open in July according to the docent
  • Well-kept grass area which is nice for lounging or a picnic. The architecture is beautiful. There are a lot of kids here, which can either be positive or negative.
  • When you have a Court Date & they say they're open from 8-3pm. That doesn't mean you can go anytime you want. Get there @ 7:30am & say a few Hail Mary's.
  • You can now see the clock gears and one of the original bells below the stairs that leads to the tower.
  • Viewing station closes at 4:45. Don't head up the stairs unless you have time because it WILL be locked.
  • Amazing view of the town of Santa Barbara!
  • Beautiful view up top on 4th floor.
  • Mural room renovation is done! Beautiful work.
  • Unfortunately, the Mural Room is currently under renovation. Still worth a visit to the 2nd floor. And then take the elevator to the 4th for a great view from the tower.
  • Ask the attendant for the senators tour!
  • If you have Jury Duty show up early and park at the Garden Lot well worth it! If not you either pay for parking or have to walk 6 blocks.
