Foursquare Tips

  • We visited Sand beach and Acadia National Park on a sunny October day and found it an amazing place to take pictures and to relax in nature! The entry ticket is worth it and recomnend it strongly!
  • Boarders can try ocean paddling in sheltered coves and bays, while inland lakes offer beautiful flat-water options. While the culture for stand-up paddle boarding is smaller, rentals are available.
  • Surrounded by tree covered cliffs on both sides. Try to visit midweek during the summer.
  • Star gazing every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 pm
  • Definitely worth a trip, beautiful beach in the heart of Acadia
  • One of the must see gems in the park, it's rare for sand to be created here. Easily worth spending a whole day relaxing here. Parking can be tough. There is also a great view along park road.
  • View, water, sand
  • When we went to this place there was no where to park, but it is a beautiful area!
