  • The San Antonio Zoo is ranked as one of the best zoos in the nation exhibiting over 3,500 animals of 600 species.
  • The season pass is way worth it! Can't beat it. Unlimited times to the zoo what could be better?
  • sit and feed the ducks by the PEARL BREWERY ENTRANCE OF THE river, for a peaceful lunch, or just to have fun with your loved ones...
  • Pick a word and see who can spell it out in order the quickest by taking pictures of the animals found throughout the zoo! Race to the Alamo
  • It wuz awesome!!!!
  • Pick up a cup of nectar at Lorry Landing and see who can entice the most lorikeets to land on them! Race to the Alamo
  • Look in all the nooks and crannies- there are exhibits and animals all over the place that u might miss otherwise!
  • Check out the special area for kids under 5. There's a little "beach" with sand and water for kids to wade in. Also in this section: huge tortoises!
  • When I go I love to eat a popsicle or popcorn and feed the ducks! It's always nice to feed
  • You must go into the Butterfly house.
  • Hippos get fed at 3pm
  • There are a lot of birds here.
  • Get the year pass. It is really cheap.
  • The zoo has a baby golden-headed tamarin! So cute!
  • Love taking the kids down to the zoo & seeing the animals. Kids love feeding Cheerios to the koi near the employee entrance. Bears? Who cares - we want carp!
  • Don't miss the Hippo they come from the deep

  • This 100 year old Zoo is amazing. Don't miss the Butterfly exhibit when it is in season.
