  • Really interesting meals- try their wild game trio!
  • Pretzel rolls are incredible!!
  • Order the trio of game. Just Do It. Check out Kevin Eats photos via link
  • Dining outdoors here is an incredible experience. We celebrated a USC graduation here in May 2009.
  • Great place to find game meats.
  • One of the yummiest meals ever. Fantastic service. VERY interesting decor.
  • Probably my favorite special occasion place in L.A. The elk is out of this world.
  • Featured in's "Where to Brunch in LA." Biscuits are bathed in wild game gravy and candied pecan-dipped French toast are enjoyed in rustic elegance amid the rugged Santa Monica Mountains.
  • In the middle of nowhere (literally), this is truly one of the only (if not the only) unique dining experiences in Calabasas. Known for its preparations of "game." Try the Elk!
  • Love their mushrooms. Hard to go wrong with any of their meats
  • The endive apple salad with pecans and blue cheese is super classic.
  • Brunch is delicious. Make sure to sip the Hibiscus Armando Palmero. They also have WiFi as cell phones don't work in the mountains.
  • Picture of a happy face after a delicious breakfast at Saddle Peak Lodge;) #happycustomer
  • #Frenchtoast please! Perfect #breakfast chopped bananas covered in a delicious buttery glaze. Very good!
  • Brunch in the patio.. Eggs Benedict sits on a croissant extra toast and side of potatoes! Melts in your mouth;)
  • Although this building has a long history, Saddle Peak Lodge itself opened in 1985 with a complete renovation of the building to achieve the rustic look it has today.
  • The building itself is over 100 years old, and boasts a colorful history as a Pony Express Station, a roadhouse, and has even been suspected of being a bordello.
  • Me & my fianc Luv this place
  • Selected cocktails and glasses of wine are also only $5 at happy hour, which is held Wednesday through Friday.
  • Emma and Maria (at the bar) are the best.
