Foursquare Tips

  • Ask your server if they can do a chefs tasting. They brought us SEVEN courses for 55 bucks.
  • Best food in town. Menu changes daily, everything is super fresh and so tasty!
  • The ribbons of lardo crowning a russet-potato-and-Pink-Lady tarte tatin on my first visit were so exquisite that my wife ordered me to get some into our kitchen, lifting a ban as old as our union.
  • Menu changes based upon what is in season. Gives a new meaning to fresh as most of the food is sourced locally.
  • Small menu but you cant go wrong...if you save room for dessert!
  • Service was flawless. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. The menu is succinct and every dish is thoughtfully constructed. Wonderful ambiance, beautiful interior. A+
  • Lovely townhouse with simple rustic fair.
  • Solid BYOB with charming atmosphere. Menu changes frequently, but on the night we went, two mains (out of three offered) were both good. Vegetable sides did give the proteins a run for the money tho.
  • For the papal visit, Russet will roast a pig on what they're calling a "Holy Spit." Porchetta sandwiches will be available with Roman potato salad, braised greens & pickled hot peppers for $15.
  • The jewel mushroom omelette, cheese grits, and bacon are delicious for an impromptu Saturday brunch!
  • Best gnocchi I've ever had. Good desserts too.
  • They accept american express.
  • Excellent! Mint chocolate chip ice cream - best I've ever had!
  • If you are Vegan, let them know. They will CREATE a dish just for you!
  • Bring your own bottle of wine and prepare for a bounty of just-sprouted vegetables in light French and Italian preparations:
  • Nab the guinea hen roasted in double-smoked bacon & hubbard squash. Don't forget to save room for the chocolate-ginger tart w/ candied blood orange for dessert.
  • Brand new farm to table restaurant. Philly's most anticipated hot spot for great food! Officially opens 2/14.
