Tips

  • New Batcave.... Not too different from old batcave..... Kids liked it though... Get there early... Lineup during spring break can get long.
  • Polkaroo! Polkaroo!
  • The largest museum in Canada, the Royal Ontario Museum specializes in natural history and world culture, from dinosaur bones to recreated Mayan ruins.
  • Bacon Rock.
  • Get free admission for a family of 4 from the Toronto Public Library
  • This is one of Canada's best museums concentrating on world culture and natural history. Enter through the amazing Crystal houses, and go around the museum's five major galleries.
  • Shrunken head can be found in the NE corner of the Crystal on level 3, good luck!!
  • Go to the first of the two dinosaur galleries and find the Parasaurolophus walkeri (the duckbill with the trombone-like crest sticking out the back of its head). It's the real McCoy and type specimen.
  • If you're wondering how they got the big totem poles through the small doors... They built the building around them.
  • Wednesday afternoons the ROM is free for just a few hours. If you need more time, take advantage of half-price evening admission from 4:30 9:30pm on Fridays.
  • Must see OIL by Burtynsky
  • Excelente museo. Es una visita obligada si ests en Toronto. Genial la exposicin de estilo de vida por pocas
  • Canada's fifth largest museum houses some six million objects, including an extensive collection of fossils and the largest mounted dinosaur in Canada. Plan to spend a full day.
  • Art museum
  • Can't recommend the Friday Night Socials enough to students of all varieties, from social to nerdy and everything in between. An unprecedented crossover worth more than one night's visit.
  • They've got dinosaurs and a bat cave and a touch-and-feel area. Not many museums are as kid-friendly as this. It's not too big and it's right in the heart of the city.
  • Chegue cedo, pois um museu com muitas salas e fecha as 5pm.
  • I recommend Friday night live at the rom.. it rocks
  • The outside structure is an exhibit of it's own! // L'extrieur de l'difice est une exposition en soi!
  • Get to Friday Night Live early so that you can wander the galleries!
