Tips

  • I love the bartenders here. They are helpful and friendly. Great patio to hang out.
  • Poutine, the original hot mess of foodstuffs, is common in Canada but harder to find stateside. The seasoned chips are thick & potato-y in every bite & are not overpowered by the spiced brown gravy.
  • 2012 Best of Phoenix Winner: Best English Pub! Tasty draft brews including Strongbow Cider, Fullers London Pride & Boddingtons along with traditional fish & chips, bangers & mash, and shepherd's pie.
  • The clam chowder is off the hook, even by this former Bostonian's standards.
  • This place has a really good beer selection
  • Good stuff. Really good stuff.
  • See what Rose & Crown will be up to for AZ Beer Week '12! Visit www.arizonabeerweek.com for more info and be sure to come back and celebrate beer Feb 18-25!
  • Great spot to have a cool Boddingtons when walking around Heritage Park in the heat
  • Good fun. Cool vibe inside and out. Food however not very good. Been on a number of occasions and they really need to change things up. Too bad as this is a truly beautiful, unique and historic place
  • Once again The Rose & Crown has scooped up the award for Best of Phoenix - Best English Pub! You won't want to miss the classic bangers & mash they'll be serving up at Best Of Phoenix A'fare on Oct.5.
  • Love love the building and atmosphere. It's hot in there during the summer. Food is good and they have cool specials!
  • Can't come to downtown without coming to The Rose & Crown. Juan Carlos is the best server/bartender (but they're all good).
  • Carlos is the best...just sayin'
  • Perfect place before a downtown sports game
  • Everyone here is ridiculously nice. Great atmosphere and good music selection. One of my favorite bars downtown!
  • Get a light and lime.
  • Sit in the comfy chair!! StoriesFromBartenders.com
  • Good fish and chips.
  • The salmon is delicious.
  • A great place to sit and relax on the porch....... Read a book, people watch or just have a few drinks and reflect on life.
