Foursquare Tips

  • At Zocalo, they make their own fresh guacamole at your table, expertly blending avocado, lime juice, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro with skilled hands usually reserved for drink-making and foreplay.
  • Skip the mole and instead order tacos a la parrilla, a piece of grilled ahi tuna, a pale fish not much heavier than swordfish, on a bed of guac and red cabbage, with nicely folded corn tortillas.
  • Mexican corn, salmon, carnitas, salsa... It's hard to go wrong here. Everything is delicious.
  • Mimosa Brunch was wonderful! Such a great steal. Large portions & mimosas were delish
  • The best salsa and guac in town! Perfect snack to nibble on while sipping their red sangria.
  • Pato con mole is my fave. Get it every time.
  • for starters, get the fresh-made guac at your table. Can't go wrong with the tuna ceviche! Mojitos are sub-par, margaritas are very good.
  • Jen at the bar makes GREAT shots! Ricardo is the manager - and he is terrific!
  • Best upscale Mexican Food in Boston. Amazing staff, food and proprietor.
  • One of the best places for brunch in Boston. Food is amazing (must try the spicy guac) and bottomless mimosas with tons of flavors to try!!!
  • Save room for desert! The churros are worth it.
  • Get the plantain stuffed with pork!
  • Beer battered shrimp tacos. Yum!
  • Do not leave here without getting the amazing, fresh, unbelievable guacamole!
  • Baja fish tacos are amazing.
  • Try the Chile Rellenos - Delicious authentic Mexican...
  • Try the guac!
  • Do not, I say again, do not, get a table downstairs
  • Great pre-theatre eats for The Lyric Stage.
  • Was a bit disappointed. Mariscada was VERY salty... Yet the steak needed some salt and pepper. Presentation is nice but 23$ for a mediocre meal
