  • Everything on the menu is amazing. The wine selection is great!
  • Fried calamari, yumm
  • An affordable share-plates analogue to a spendier tasting menu venue. Imagine beef tartare with pimenton oil, smoked cheddar, horseradish, and buckwheat groats. You dig?
  • Options here come a la carte. There's toast with little neck clams, lardo, and spinach; beef tartare with smoked cheddar and chestnuts; radishes with seaweed butter; and a steak for two.
  • Not worth the wait. Better for a snack & drink than full dinner. Go with the tuna tartare & a glass of the Cheverny.
  • Excellent food, desserts and wines
  • Creative and eclectic small plate menu -- with reasonably sized plates -- that has a vibe and wine menu perfect for a date. Great vibe. The poached tuna, beef tartar, and gem lettuce salad all .

  • I had the best wine I've ever had here, and some of the most creative, yet simple, food.
  • Lively vibe and delicious scallop crudo. Definitely get the bread. Felt it was a bit hyped but still a good meal. Tartare and spicy tuna toast were pretty good as well.
  • Beef tartar, radish and butter, shishito peppers, bread and olive oil, and scallops! Delicious! Definitely worth the wait
  • Drink weird wine and order the bread. (FWIW I'm totally against paying for bread, but this is definitely worth it)

  • Lovely wine bar from the folks at Contra. Amazing wine list and great small eats. My favs were scallop crudo, fried squid, shrimp, rhubarb granita!

  • Everything was great! Contra's sister restaurant delivers on quality and fresh dishes with seasonal ingredients
  • For a fancy night try the tartare, fried squid, potato darphin, and of course pair it with some fine wine.
  • Savor every bite of the beef tartar and the fried squid (the fried lemon with the squid was good enough to make you cry). Cool ambiance, excellent staff, and spectacular food.
  • Start with the beef tartare, persimmon & stracciatella, and the bread & oil. Wagyu steak for 2 is cooked sous-vide, then perfectly seared off. Can't really go wrong here.
  • The wine selection is one of my favorites in the whole city lots of interesting natural and biodynamic wines from around the world. The food is incredible. This is a special place.
