Tips
- Old style Japanese restaurant. They'll save your bottle of saki FOR YEARS with your name on it.
- Neighborhood gem, sexy and well hidden. Japanese meatballs are served with fried eggs, great sake and shochu selection. Pay attention to the specials.
- Must try the udon
- Excellent Japanese home-style cooking
- Cozy, unpretentious neighborhood homestyle Japanese. For when you want Japanese food that isn't sushi. Nice sake/shochu list, too.
- Must-haves; nikujaga, eggplant, meatballs, Goto udon, nikujaga, and the okra special if they have it. A gem
- Beef stew, pork belly, and sake of course.
- The kakuni and karaage are my favorites. They also have a great selection of shochu!
- delicious karaage
- cool, unique Japanese hole in the wall! unusual food for this cuisine
- mention slavinfpo and good things happen...
- Everything Ive had is delicious
- An amazing pea shoot salad, delicious fried chicken, gyoza, and eel omelette, all recommended
- Really comfortable food
- The udon here is great, and well priced. The other sides are also fantastic, very cute interior as well.
- Super disappointed, I found the food to be pretty bland and pricey. We got the pork belly, eel omelette, goto udon, and karaage
- Orion long necks, great shochu list, home made pickles feels like Japan but cheaper than a flight
- Quiet hole in the wall type of a place offers genuine Japanese atmosphere along with tasty homemade food and wide selection if drinks. Might be confusing for those who havent been to Japan
- Great selection of shochus - my favorite is the soba/buckwheat shochu. Some sweetness and very nutty. Flights of three are $12, awesome deal.
- It's really homey. I really like the small dishes they have and the pork belly is also good.
