Foursquare Tips

  • If you want steak, go to The Hawksmoor. You'll receive superior food, drink and service.
  • Only a fool would leave without trying the caramel fondue with donuts and marshmallows.
  • Be careful when ordering a chicken. Presentation is not suitable for the faint hearted...
  • Food "O.K". Typical Shoreditch poncy attitude. Service is appalling. Hate visiting restaurants where the staff make you feel as if you are privileged to dine with them. Get over yourself.
  • Brit chef Mark Hix is going Burger & Lobster-esque casual with his latest offering. The menu is serving just two things: steak and chicken. Oh, and a couple of changing starters and desserts.
  • 2/3 stars: Theres a whole lot of love out there for Tramshed, Mark Hixs new oops, I nearly called it a concept. Id say thats down to two main factors
  • Commissioned Damin Hurst piece in the middle of a restaurant. Standard.
  • They also do takeout here at reasonable prices. Take a seat at the bar, have a chat with the lovely coffee barista and gaze at the Damien Hirst artwork as you await your epic steak sandwich.
  • As usual Nick Strangeway has designed the cocktail menu and you'll see a few familiar drinks, like the Hix Fix, and Mark's bottled cocktails, we liked the Campari based Twitter and Bisted.
  • Dry chicken and mediocre steak at best. Take your money elsewhere.
  • Amazing space with great food. You have to have the Piri Piri chicken and chips. Not the cheapest restaurant but worth it for a treat.
  • The so called steak sandwich should be called beef shavings on a puffy bun complemented by 10ish wafer thin room temp fries, served by a tattooed chump who's still clinging on to the hipster look!
  • Don't go for the chicken. Definitely steak. That said, if its good steak you're after go to Hawksmoore instead. Far better and not much difference in price. Tramshed = pretty average.
  • The chicken had definitely been cooped up in the oven too long... Super dry
  • A nice space, but the chicken was pretty dry.
  • Get the Raspberry Sundae! It's everything you want and nothing you don't.
  • More fat than muscle on my steak sandy, and not the eatable fat... Good fries though
  • Cool atmosphere. The steak is definitely more special than the chicken! :-) Dessert was so so.
  • Extremely limited vegetarian and vegan options, which are mainly mushroom based. The chips don't come vegetarian so make sure you specify, but the dips and decor make up for it.
  • The quality of food is not good compared to the price. I got a salad with chicken that had water in it, I asked for oil and they brought me an awful dressing with just lemon.
