  • New York Times writer & critic Frank Bruni has said that this is one of his favorite restaurants in the world due to the fresh seafood and lamb dishes. Diners come from the mainland just to eat here.
  • Slightly old school restaurant but very charming, with fantastic views across the loch, an impressive selection of whiskies and great food - especially the local shellfish
  • AMAZING food! Best salmon I have ever tasted. But the service is rather slow.
  • Fabulous. Kitchen table tasting menu watching prep & service while being tended by the chefs. A total & memorable experience. Unmissable.
  • Absolutely wonderful food and drink.
  • We had a fantastic lunch here! Fabulous flavours combine with beautiful location and TOP CLASS service!
  • The menu with local dishes and fish ... very nice and more then enough. Also the local cheese is to recommand.
  • A long journey to get to and out of the way, but one of the best seafood meals ever... The tasting menu, of course!
  • The place is well decorated, the staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable about every dish. But we found the menu over-priced regarding what we eat there.
  • Staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable about every dish. Had a variety of foods from the lunch taster menu and all was cooked perfectly.
  • Food good, service average, atmosphere lacking.
  • An amazing restaurant. Delicious food.
  • Absolutely great food and location! Definately one of my favourite restaurants in the world. They serve delicious local seafood and have very friendly staff. Remember to book a table ahead.
  • Everything
  • Everything single thing but if you like your oysters, scallops and mussels, opt for the seafood menu at lunch time - only 50 and worth every penny
  • It's intimate, beautiful, serves amazingly fresh local seafood, and does right by the local lamb as well. An enchanting experience through and through.
  • Make sure to book well in advance. Kitchen is closed between 13.30 - 18.00!
  • If you stay over, ask them to make you up a packed lunch for the next day - delicious and quite reasonably priced
  • Room 5 has a beautiful view.
