Tips
- The spacious, beautiful second location of Third Rail looks something like an inflated version of the original - almost the same layout but much larger, with the addition of wifi & plugs. No bathroom.
- Seriously the best hot chocolate I've ever had. It's so yummy! Not overly chocolately or overly sweet.
- A lovely caf, with plenty of natural light and a fair amount of seating. They serve Stumptown roasters. Latte was delicious - rich flavor and great foam! Perfect spot to meet for a quick coffee.
- I can't rectify my love of this place with their C health code rating...sweet chalkboard art
- Quiet, even on a Sunday. Good place to read a book, drink some coffee and chill out to a catchy playlist.
- Tasting Table Top 10 Iced Coffee: "low-acidity coffee at this shop is a 24-hour cold brew that's best enjoyed black; staff isn't judgy--so load it up with half and half if that's your thing"
- Mmmmm, pumpkin apple hazelnut muffin.
- Great coffee, quick service and nice staff. Try the Cold brew and lattes
- Espresso & mocha lattes
- No restroom and no wifi but has great coffee and a well lit space.
- Cortados are delish! Ask to have it made with beans by Linea (from San Fran)!
- The drip coffee was rich and delicious. No milk or sugar needed. NO WIFI though.
- Great iced latts and really nice staff! Bring cash
- Very friendly staff. Great pour overs.
- Stumptown Costa Rica drip brew was a winner in a 1st visit to Third Rail's new shop. The East Village setting is airier and more pleasant than the Greenwich Village original.
- Amazingly quiet spot. Hard to find in this hood.
- You can find tasty cold brew here, but there isnt much seating to be found.
- Counter culture beans and some very tasty sparkling waters
- Cool cafe , nice location x
- Delicious coffee in a cozy spot in the east village. Recommended
