Foursquare Tips

  • This has to have the best address in Manhattan. 123 4th Ave? The Count from Sesame Street should live here.
  • Not having wifi is a feature, not a bug.
  • They don't have WiFi to discourage nyu students from squatting. Which is great if you're trying to write. Or sit.
  • Try coding a social-location app that can tell you where your friends and others are hanging out.
  • Great coffee, hot cider, and grilled cheese. Lots of seating and fun staff.
  • Get your oatmeal with chai
  • Everyone there has a Mac, so I assume its all students or ppl with no job
  • Tables by the window make for good people/puppy watching. Coffee is some of the best in the city and the pastries aren't half bad. Friendly hipster staff. No wi-if is the best part.
  • Iced americano ($3.50 for med.) is milder than the one at La Colombe ($3). If you want something bolder than just an iced coffee, this is a good intro. But I personally prefer La Colombe's boldness.
  • Cold brew Iced coffee is outstanding. The baristas are widely inconsistent for espresso drinks. I love the bagels w/ tofu cream cheese here (3 of 4 petals via Fondu)
  • try a spanish latte
  • There's no mirror in the bathroom. Take that as you will.
  • Love this place but they need wifi. What's the point of a coffee shop without wifi? Even starbucks has free wifi now.
  • I wish they had sofas like the one on mercer
  • Yay for no wifi! more room to sit!
  • Theres no wifi so....
  • Best bagel with cream cheese and tomato I've had in ages. Served open face with super good tomato.
  • No wifi, but take the time to unplug and enjoy 10 minutes for just yourself. You deserve it!
  • their iced coffee is delicious!
  • Great coffee and they support East Village nonprofits, just wish there was wifi.
